Telefilm is a federal cultural agency reporting to Parliament through the Department of Canadian Heritage. As a Crown corporation, Telefilm is considered a separate employer, distinct from the federal government. We voluntarily participate in the federal government pension plan and employee benefit programs, and we are guided by the policies of the Treasury Board. Telefilm is also governed by the Canada Labour Code and internal management policies.
