OFFICIAL LANGUAGES ACTIVITIES PROGRAM
Multiplatform, Multi-success! – Multi-talents pour le Multiplateforme

Montréal, December 19, 2008 – Telefilm is proud to announce an addition to its Official Languages Activities (OLA) program entitled Multiplatform, Multi-success! Multi-talents pour le multiplateforme. This new professional development initiative is intended for French-language and English-language creators in minority language situations. This pilot initiative, which consists of a three-day workshop, is a tool for exploring the creation and exploitation of content in a multiplatform setting. Interested individuals are invited to read the registration procedures and submit their application before Thursday, January 29, 2009. Registrations will be treated on a “first come, first served” basis, pending eligibility.

This initiative is intended for producers, directors and scriptwriters of feature films or TV programs that want to go the multiplatform route. It is also meant for producers in new media, developers, project directors and scriptwriters in interactive media that wish to perfect their understanding of the challenges of audiovisual and digital creation and seize the existing opportunities offered by this environment at both the concept design and exploitation level.

The workshop for French-language creators residing in Canada outside Quebec will take place in Montreal on February 23, 24 and 25, 2009 while the one for English-language creators living in Quebec will be held on March 9, 10 and 11, 2009.
