Announcing the Telefilm Canada International Tête-à-Têtes at the 2006 Vancouver Film & Television Forum
Vancouver, September 6, 2006 - Telefilm Canada is pleased to support
Canadian producers at the 25th-anniversary edition of the Vancouver International
Film Festival by sponsoring the Telefilm Canada International Tête-à-Têtes,
a series of one-on-one meetings designed to foster coproduction activity and
international sales.
In association with the Festival's Vancouver Film & Television Forum, this
unique initiative offers Canadian industry players the opportunity to discuss
concrete projects face to face with international producers, distributors, broadcasters
and sales agents during private 20-minute meetings, to be held September 30.

Developing and promoting the Canadian audiovisual industry
Telefilm Canada is a federal cultural agency dedicated to the development and
promotion of the Canadian audiovisual industry. Telefilm provides financial
support to the private sector to create distinctively Canadian productions that
appeal to domestic and international audiences. The Corporation also administers
the funding programs of the Canadian Television Fund.
