Telefilm Canada Participates in the First Edition of the Arcadia Festival in Montreal

Telefilm Canada attaches a great deal of importance to the new media industry and supports the artists and artisans who work in this field by providing financial assistance to the Arcadia festival to ensure increased visibility for Canadian cultural new media products. Together with Arcadia, Telefilm will develop initiatives that will enable Canadian creators and businesses to make a name for themselves and thus be recognized by the general public. Among these initiatives, Telefilm is pleased to announce the creation of the Best Canadian Product Award, which will mark excellence in the new media industry and help promote Canadian creativity.

As a cultural investor, Telefilm Canada manages the Canada New Media Fund (CNMF), which supports the creation and broadcasting of leading-edge products in an environment conducive to national and international business development.
