Canada Feature Film Fund - Application deadline for French-language production projects extended to April 18, 2005

Montréal, April 4, 2005 – Telefilm Canada has announced that the April 11, 2005, application deadline for French-language production projects has been extended by one week to Monday, April 18.

This extension will allow producers to polish their projects for what is shaping up to be an extremely tight competition for funding. It will also give producers resubmitting a project refused at the January 17 deadline more time to make substantial changes to the script.

Despite the extension, Telefilm will announce its decisions as planned in late June 2005.
