Applicants may submit their project or portfolio of projects at any time during Telefilm’s fiscal year. Applications must be submitted via eTelefilm. If you do not yet have an eTelefilm account, we urge you to register today.

Our systems will be ready to receive applications as of April 30, 2012.

Low Budget Independent Feature Film Assistance Program

The Versioning Assistance Program

There is no application deadline. Complete applications are assessed as they are received. However, applications seeking financing assistance within the current fiscal year (April 1 – March 31) must submit a complete application prior to December 15.

This Closing Date has been established to allow sufficient time to review, contract and provide cash-flow to productions prior to Telefilm’s fiscal year-end (March 31st). Applications received after the Closing Date will continue to be assessed for assistance in the next fiscal provided that the Fund is renewed.

Alternative Distribution Program

Please note: we are not accepting applications for Industry Promotion events at this time.

As well, it is not possible to submit applications for this program using eTelefilm.

Promotion Program

Applicants may submit a funding request at any time during the open application period from April 30 to December 14, 2012. Applications must be submitted via eTelefilm. If you do not have an eTelefilm account, we invite you to open one at your earliest convenience.

Our systems will be ready to receive applications starting on May 18, 2012. If you want to submit a funding request before that date, please contact your Telefilm resource person.
