Telefilm Canada is currently soliciting applications from Canadian production and distribution companies for MIPTV 2011. MIPTV is an international market for funding, co-producing, buying and selling entertainment products intended for all platforms. MIPTV offers greater opportunities for meeting people, enjoying visibility, and experiencing a wide range of distribution platforms than any other industry event in the world.
In 2011, MIPTV attracted 11,661 industry professionals, including 4,057 buyers and 4,169 companies from 107 countries. Canadian presence represents the fifth in importance after the U.S., United Kingdom, France and Germany.
