Calls for entry
(Feature-length and short films)
The Edinburgh International Film Festival is currently accepting entries for its 2012 edition. Please note that all films must be submitted directly to the Festival. Submission format: DVD (PAL and NTSC) Competitive: Yes Entry fees: Yes

Eligibility
- All films must be UK premieres. Special interest is given to world or international premieres;
- Films that have had previous public screenings or been broadcast in Britain are not eligible. Please note, this rule does not apply to Short Animation submissions;
- Any film that has previously screened online will not be accepted;
- All submitted films must be completed after June 1, 2011;
- Shorts films (less than 45 minutes) and feature-length films (over 45 minutes) are accepted.
The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) has been in existence since 1947 and holds a particular interest in innovative new film talent. The EIFF aims to stand internationally as a festival of discovery, a celebration of cinema, a centre of debate and a catalyst for new and innovative films. EIFF’s programme of films and events combines a commitment to audience edification with a strong ongoing stake in the development of UK and Scottish film industries.
