The 46th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (www.kviff.com), one of the most important competitive festivals in the world, is currently accepting entries.
A FIAPF "A" category festival and leading competitive film festival in Central and Eastern Europe, the Festival is one of the key stops on the international festival calendar. The festival, respected for its strong programming and efficient guest and industry services, attracts an increasing number of festival scouts and distributors.
Since its inception in 2003, the Festival's Industry Office has been providing services and activities to about 800 registered producers, buyers, distributors, sales agents, representative of festivals and film institutions. In addition to its strategic relationship with Variety, the festival's press coverage is very prominent (approximately 600 national and international journalists). Each year, an interesting set of European and Asian trade professionals attend, many of whom are looking for international co-producers.
The Festival attracts an audience of approx. 130,000, a mostly young audience that is famous for its enthusiastic support and bringing the power of their patronage back to local box offices.
The 46th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has already announced the presentation of a DENIS VILLENEUVE RETROSPECTIVE.

Registration deadline with Telefilm Canada :

It is now obligatory to register via eTelefilm, our efficient and secure online service.
In order to complete the preselection application form, you must first register your company by opening a permanent eTelefilm account as soon as possible and at least 7 days prior to the deadline mentioned above.
Telefilm will then send you a personal PIN within five (5) working days of receipt of the duly completed eTelefilm registration form. You will then be able to fill out the pre-selection form via eTelefilm. Please click on the following link for details regarding the registration procedure.
Clients may also open a temporary eTelefilm account that does not require a PIN. However, temporary accounts do not offer clients the option of using one registration form for multiple festivals. Please click the following link for information on the registration procedure.
