@ WOOD RIVER HALL

@ Wood River Hall is a half hour, 13-episode performance series featuring folk musicians from across Canada. The music ranges from traditional, to songs of social comment, to contemporary songs of artists like James Keelaghan, Shari Ulrich, Bruce Cockburn and Sylvia Tyson. Hosted by Saskatchewan singer-songwriter Connie Kaldor, the program is filmed in a "folk club" setting, with a live audience seated at small tables. @ Wood River Hall creates an intimate, comfortable and informal setting for some of the best music Canada has to offer.

FROM TIME TO TIME

From Time to Time is an hour-long film portraying the emotional arc of a woman's life through a unique combination of dance, drama and the remarkable music of Joni Mitchell. Written and directed by Moze Mossanen and choreographed by Ginette Laurin, the film explores a single life from the initial flirtations of youth through to the disappointments and compromises of the adult years. Along the way, the film touches upon the idealism of the sixties, the sexual experimentation of the seventies, the social turbulence of the eighties and nineties and the promise of the new millennium.

RETOUR AUX SOUCHES (LE)

Sol, an endearingly naive clown-tramp played by Marc Favreau, has enchanted audiences in Quebec and Europe for more than 20 years with his wonderful manipulation of words and language. Behind his mask of innocence, however, lies a fierce critic of modern society. This delightful program features the amazing verbal contortions that Sol displayed in his most recent stage show.
