Yvon of the Yukon

Yvon Ducharme is a 17th-century sailor, a simple boob of an explorer who was accidentally frozen in ice for 300 years. Yvon now finds himself living in Upyermukluk, a "modern" town filled with boneheads, misfits and screwballs. Will Yvon succeed in conquering this freeze-dried land in the name of New France, or will he discover the plight of his beloved King Louis XIV and become inconsolably despondent? Given his iron will, his total obsession and his complete stupidity, Yvon will probably triumph...
