This documentary chronicles the encounter between several students and their wise, rascally and magical teacher. The teacher is Canadian Khyentse Norbu, one of world's most eminent Buddhist teachers and also an accomplished filmmaker whose first feature, The Cup, received international publicity and acclaim. The students include award-winning filmmaker Lesley Ann Patten, this documentary's director, whose film Loyalties was voted one of the 10 best documentaries of 1999 by the American Film Institute.
