When the Time Is Now explores the struggles, fears, courage and dreams that took four ordinary women from their prairie roots and turned them into world-class curlers and Olympic gold medallists at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano. The program also looks at how the team decided to move on after the untimely death of their dear friend and skip, Sandra Schmirler, and to complete their final dream together.
