La Voix des Mechif II explores the life and heritage of the Mechif of the Great Northern Plains, in Western Canada: from the Red-Assiniboine River basins in southern Manitoba, to the foothills of the Rockies, and from the Turtle Mountain region north to Fort Providence, Northwest Territories. Mechif participants narrate their own stories, depicting their world views, culture and spirit.
