UNLUCKY LADY II: THE SINKING OF HMCS ATHABASKAN

Unlucky Lady II presents the first images of the mighty warship HMSC Athabaskan, sunk in the English Channel in April 1944. Divers explore the wreck recently found off the coast of France. This documentary tries to solve the 60-year-old mystery behind the sinking. Was it a German torpedo, internal explosion, or friendly fire? These theories are explored through the testimonials of survivors, naval historians, as well as military records.
