Turning Points of History IV

Turning Points of History recaptures the milestone events in Canadian and international history that dramatically changed the world. Season four’s subjects include the 1915 Battle of Ypres, where 6,000 Canadian soldiers fell victim to one of the First World War’s deadliest weapons, poison gas; and the events leading up to President Kennedy’s most humiliating disaster, the Bay of Pigs fiasco. The series also looks at more recent headlines, such as the blood-spattered killing grounds of Rwanda.
