Two filmmakers stand naked in the reflection of their own words, excerpts from their recent journals written on a wall. A lithe young woman hunches over a toilet bowl, a hangman’s noose cinched tightly around her neck – “silent suicide.” In this uniquely stylized documentary, the filmmakers, Leslie Côté, a recovered bulimic, and Felicia Francescut, a recovered anorexic, seek to unravel the naked truth about their own illnesses.
