Based on a true story, Tagged is a powerful account of teen violence and one boy’s indomitable will. In his first year of high school (grade 9), 15-year-old Jonathan Wamback stands up to a gang of bullies. In response, the gang brutally attacks Jon, leaving him in a coma, with a severe brain injury and close to death. Incensed at the charge his son’s attackers subsequently receive, Joe Wamback lobbies to have the Young Offenders Act toughened. Meanwhile, Jon comes out of his coma and fights to overcome his grievous injuries.
