A Star in the Making is a performing-arts documentary about 16-year-old Sarah Clark and her quest to be a star of the ballet. The documentary tells Sarah's story from her beginnings as a young girl taking ballet lessons at a dance school in Thornhill, Ontario to her studies at the legendary Moscow State Academy of Choreography - known to the world as the "Bolshoi School" of dance - and then to the prestigious International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria.
