Spirit World: The Story of the Mi'kmaq

Spirit World tells the story of the Mi’kmaq First Nation from 3000 years ago to the present. It celebrates the Mi’Kmaqs’ genius, creativity, humanity, spirituality and tenacity, which helped them survive overwhelming attacks on their culture and on their very existence, first by the colonial powers and then by the Canadian government. The series ends with a message of hope as it describes the Mi’kmaq cultural renaissance that is now well underway.
