Sola is based on a trilogy of solo contemporary dance works – Birth, ABO/ashes and Sadhana – danced and choreographed by Alvin Erasga Tolentino. These provocative and critically acclaimed dances follow the
journey of transformation through various states of being and levels of consciousness: the birth of a seed, the pervasive decay of existence and finally the path to enlightenment. Woven between the dances is a voice-over of the creator’s vision and thoughts, accompanied by footage on the making of
the program.
