A SHINE OF RAINBOWS

Eight-year-old Tomas is taken from his orphanage by Maire O’Donnell, whose smile lights up the darkest room – and Tomas’s heart. Soon Tomas is sailing to Maire’s wind-swept island home off the coast of Ireland where, among the mists, moors, and rainbows, Maire shares with Tomas the secrets of the seals and other wonders. But when Maire becomes ill, Tomas risks losing everything unless he can find the magic that’s inside him. A Shine of Rainbows is about conquering grief and finding love, about discovering life’s magic and realizing that rainbows are all around you – and within you too.
