In the Shadow of a Saint

Journalist Ken Wiwa returns to Nigeria to bury his father, the late activist Ken Saro-Wiwa. Saro-Wiwa was hanged for struggling against Shell Oil and the Nigerian dictatorship. The journey is an opportunity for Ken Wiwa to come to terms with his father, a man with whom he had a difficult relationship. He also meets the children of African heroes Steve Biko and Nelson Mandela to better understand what itmeans to live in the shadow of a great parent.
