Science of Death (The)

The Science of Death looks at what happens to bodies after death has been pronounced. Scientists who work with cadavers, cadaveric tissue and skeletal remains have shown that biological activity persists in remains for hundreds, and perhaps thousands, of years after a person’s “lights have gone out.” The “signs of life” that neurologists, anthropologists and others have discovered within cadavers challenge our current definition of death.
