This documentary series looks at Haida art from the perspective of Haida artists and other Aboriginal cultural figures. Each episode, offering a mix of portraiture and first-person narrative, focuses on a particular artist, seen on the land and in the studio. Filmed primarily in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, the series enriches our understanding of Haida artists and the important contributions they have made – and continue to make – to the humanities.
