Radio Revolution: The Rise and Fall of the Big 8

In the 1960s, there was only one radio station: CKLW, “The Big 8.” The most powerful force in the American music business, Windsor’s CKLW dominated the airwaves and turned on the world to Motown, soul and rock and roll. Radio Revolution investigates the international social, political and musical impact of CKLW during the turbulent sixties and seventies. In the days before MTV, the electronic street corner was radio – and CKLW was the hippest and loudest street corner in the world.
