POOR MAN’S HEROIN

Talwin and Ritalin combined, cooked, then injected has become a plague on the Prairies, making the region the “T and R” capital of the world. It is also sweeping through the Native community. Called “poor man’s heroin,” addicts inject this fix up to 40 times a day, leading to an astronomical increase in the spread of HIV and hepatitis. Poor Man’s Heroin follows two addicts and a police officer through their struggle on both sides of the law.
