Claire is a die-hard music fan, talking her way past bouncers into the hottest concerts in Toronto. Forced to repeat her last year of high school, Claire’s reputation has gone from bad-ass to pathetic. The only person unaware of her rep is Henry, a nerdy freshman Claire used to babysit. Kate Melville is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter making her directorial debut with Picture Day. Raised in Toronto, Kate studied film at Concordia University in Montreal. Her television writing credits include Degrassi, Endgame, Being Erica, ReGenesis, Northern Town, and the adaptation of Timothy Findley’s Elizabeth Rex.
