PASSEUR TROP DISCRET (LE)

In 1953, a small man with a round face began to make known his creativity and audacity. Through the story of Laurie Henri, who founded Acadian New Brunswick’s first theatre company in 1956 but died in near anonymity in Montreal in 1982, this documentary brings to the screen a little know side of Acadian life. Here is a church-defined, rural Acadia that rose from its modest roots to create in ways never before seen.
