ONE WEEK

When a young man is confronted with his mortality, he takes a road trip on a vintage motorcycle. One Week tells the story of Ben Tyler, in his mid-twenties, who flees the confines of his life—an impending marriage, a job he’s not entirely happy with and a recent diagnosis—in order to attempt to live more fully. What starts off as an ill-defined venture, soon morphs into a journey from Toronto to Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. One Week asks the question, “What would you do if you had one week to live?” and answers it through our hero’s journey. It’s by examining the particular that the larger truths emerge about the universal.
