Dance, story-telling, and song inspire a Wanderer voyaging across cultures and encountering the commonality of artists’ imagination. The film juxtaposes throat-singers with medieval sopranos; the dance of Margie Gillis and Robert Glumbek with erotic mask-dance of Greenland; Michael Kusugak’s Northern Lights stories with the stained glass of St. Chapelle, by Ex Machina’s Jacques Collin; and music by 11th century Hildegard von Bingen with 21st century Canadian composer Christos Hatzis.
