Landscape as Muse illustrates the relationship between Canada's world-class artists and its dramatic and inspiring landscapes. The goal of the series is to study unique lesser-known landscapes, and explore their link to artistic inspiration. Each episode focuses on a particular region or specific geographic trait, through the work of a particular artist: in photography, installation, sculpture, or painting. Artists are taken to specific locations, where their working process and their reaction to the environment is documented.
