Heartbeat of the Earth is an Aboriginal documentary series that focuses on the relationships of northern people to their community, examining how they retain their traditions and adapt to contemporary life. A majority of the personal experiences are recounted in the Cree and Dene languages, which are subtitled in English. The series embodies historical and cultural characteristics of people sharing unique, northern Aboriginal experiences.
