At the International Festival of the Domaine Forget, set in the beautiful Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canadian pianist Marc-André Hamelin performs the music of the little known Leopold Godowsky in finger-breaking transcriptions of the Chopin Etudes together with the keyboard settings by Franz Liszt of the music of Wagner and Verdi. This film is a musical and visual delight.
