In The Footsteps of Michelangelo documents the life of an artist-priest, Father Dunstan Massey, who, while living in the 21st century, practises an art form perfected by Michelangelo, the art of fresco. It is an intimate portrait of a man who has devoted his life to his God and his art. The Benedictine monastery where he has lived for more than 50 years has become his gallery, a showcase for his paintings, fresco and sculpture.
