FINDING FIDEL

Finding Fidel tells the story of Erik Durschmied, one of the top war correspondents in the world. The film examines his extraordinary career through the focus of his remarkable meeting and interview with Fidel Castro on the eve of the Cuban Revolution in 1958. The film interweaves Durschmied’s original film footage with footage from a contemporary Cuban journey, while reflecting on the journalist's career as a witness to some of the major events of our times.
