On a mid-summer, moonlit night, Puck, a mischievous fairy, tells her story of unrequited love. It all begins at a wedding, where a young guest rejects the man her father wants her to marry and, with her lover, escapes to the magical forest. There, Puck–in the middle of a scheme designed to steal King Oberon from Queen Titania–calls on the fairies to help her teach the humans lasting lessons about true love.
