English Teachers follows a group of six young Canadian men and women who travel to Taipei, the thriving capital city of Taiwan, to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to Taiwanese children. Each person has different reasons for leaving home and embarking on this grand adventure. They don't know the culture, they don't know the language, and they're half a planet away from home. Unprepared, inexperienced, and uncertain of their fate, they never know just how crazy things will get.
