DESTINATION NOR’OUEST

This historical documentary tells of the events and emotions experienced by nine men and women during a 2,500 km canoe trip from the Lachine Canal, in Montreal, to the Red River Valley near Winnipeg. Inspired by the Voyageurs who, 200 years ago, took the same route in the quest for furs, the group faces enormous natural and human challenges throughout their 100 days of paddling.
