DARING TO DIE: THE STORY OF THE BLACK DEVILS

Daring to Die is the story of the First Special Service Force, a unique group of soldiers assembled in 1942 as a joint Canadian-American super commando force. All members of the unit volunteered for the Force, even though they were were told they could be sent on potential suicide missions. The Germans called them Schwartzen Teufels, or Black Devils, for their stealth and bravery, as well as for the terror their missions induced. The Black Devils were trained to do the impossible under the most difficult circumstances.
