Every year, 60,000 hysterectomies are performed in Canada – one of the highest rates in the world. It is estimated that up to 50 per cent are unnecessary. Through interviews with women, gynecological professionals and women’s health experts, Cut to Pieces explores the complexities of hysterectomy from a Canadian perspective.
