CRACKING UP

Cracking Up follows 12 brave individuals as they take a course in stand-up comedy. They also happen to suffer from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression. "It's like The Full Monty except people want us to keep our clothes on," jokes counselor and comedian David Granirer who devised the program. The film knocks the wind out of the stereotypes associated with mental illness and shows how a slightly skewed perspective on the world can be a very funny gift indeed.
