Coup de Théâtre follows three theatre troupes, made up of young Franco-Ontarians, as they go through the process of mounting a show, from initial concept to public performance. The series features teens from the Étienne Brûlé school in North York, the École Macdonald-Cartier in Sudbury, and the Nouveau Théâtre d'Occasion community theatre, in Mississauga.
