Canada à la carte introduces and interprets Canadian geography for 13 to 17 year olds. In its second season, the series' young hosts, Cosette and Aimé, assisted by a team of experts, explore geographical phenomena from a historical perspective. The series also looks at some of the issues that will have an impact on both Canada and the world at large, such as global warming, the melting of glaciers, the globalization of the economy and natural resources. In so doing, the series helps young viewers think about the relationship between humans and the environment.
