A Bug and a Bag of Weed follows the misadventures of Peter, Stan and Willie, three computer store salesmen, as they attempt to escape the drudgery of "don't forget to sell the extended warranty",and "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean." Approaching 31 and dreaming about getting their old high school rock band back together, the threesome put their computer selling techniques to new uses when they accidentally inherit an old Volkswagen bug and a hockey bag full of weed.

Director
After earning his MFA in the film program at the University of British Columbia, where he won the Panavision New Filmmaker’s Award, David Gonella went on to direct three episodes of the Comedy Network series, The Unprofessionals, and numerous music videos. He has also written and directed several short films including Basil, starring Ed Asner. His first feature film, Little Boy Blues, was released in 2001.
