BHOPAL: THE SEARCH FOR JUSTICE

Bhopal: The Search for Justice straddles science, politics and human rights as it explores charges that the true toll of the 1984 gas-leak disaster was officially covered up. Set against the rich visual tapestry of India, the film follows Raajkumar Keswani, a local journalist whose prediction of the Union Carbide disaster proved prophetic. Keswani travels through the Indian bastiis where the poorest victims live, visits the offices of frustrated doctors and scientists, and, finally, makes his first trip to North America in search of answers.
