AU PAYS DU MADAWASKA SÉRIE FRANCOPHONIE CANADIENNE

This documentary looks at the relationship between the people of the Madawaskan and Acadian regions, in New Brunswick. Most of the featured subjects are Madawaskan. They discuss their home and its distinctiveness, as well as their sometimes harmonious, sometimes strained relationship with Acadians. The documentary segments are interspersed with excerpts from playwright Rino Morin Rossignol’s play Le Pique-Nique, which adds a touch of humour and irony to the subject.
