L'Acadie en chansons chronicles the making of the eponymous album, which features more than 20 songs by a line-up of renowned Acadian singers and songwriters covering some of the biggest hits in Acadian music from the past 30 years. The documentary was shot in spring 2004 in recording studios, houses, chalets - even garages - in such places as Cap-Pelé, Halifax, Ottawa, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Caraquet and Montréal.
