In the late 1960’s, the CBC created Five Years in the Life, a series that captured on film the lives of 42 Canadian families. Only a handful were followed up before the show was cancelled in 1973. 35 Years in the Life explores what happened to nine of those families and celebrates moments in their lives... moments of great joy and, at times, of deep despair.
